Joanne qualified in 1988 from St. Thomas’ School of Physiotherapy. She worked within the NHS for a number of years, before moving into the Private Sector.
Joanne has gained Sports Injury and Taping knowledge as an England Netball Squad Physiotherapist, as well as providing match cover for the Bedfordshire County Netball Teams and as a Club Physiotherapist for a semi-professional Football Team plus providing match cover for Ampthill Rugby Club.
During her career in the NHS she reached Senior Level managing the Physiotherapy provision of the Regional Hand Unit at The Lister Hospital, Stevenage.
This expert knowledge is still demonstrated today by her close working relationship with a local Hand Surgeon, providing post-operative care.
Joanne’s skills also include the treatment of all spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal and neural dysfunctions, but her particular interests include hands, shoulders and complex upper limb disorders.
